Who we are
IDFusion is a product of Increment Pty Ltd (ACN 643 775 900) (“Increment”, “we”, “us”). We operate the website at idfusion.io and the IDFusion platform. We are bound by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). Where the EU or UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies to how we handle your information, we handle your information in line with its requirements.
What this policy covers
This policy explains how we handle personal information:
- about visitors to this website and people who contact us; and
- that our customers ask us to process in the IDFusion platform.
Information we collect through this website
- Enquiries. When you contact us, our contact form opens an email in your own email app. We receive only what you choose to send — typically your name, work email, company, organisation size, HR system and your message.
- No analytics or advertising tracking. This website does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.
- Your display preference. If you switch between light and dark mode, your choice is saved in your own browser so the site remembers it. It is not sent to us.
- Technical information. Like any website, our hosting provider may process technical details such as your IP address and browser type to deliver the site and keep it secure.
How we use it
We use enquiry information to reply to you, arrange a demonstration and, if you become a customer, manage our relationship with you. We do not sell personal information. If you no longer want to hear from us, tell us and we will stop.
Information in the IDFusion platform
Our customers use IDFusion to manage the identities of their workforce. When they do, we process their people’s information — such as names, work details, start and end dates — on our customer’s behalf and on their instructions, as set out in our agreement with them. The customer decides what information is collected and is responsible for telling their people how it is used.
Customer data in the platform is hosted in Australia and protected by the controls described on our Security page. If you are an employee or contractor of one of our customers and have a question about your information, please contact your employer first. We will help them respond.
Who we share information with
We share personal information only with service providers who help us run our business (for example hosting and email), who must keep it confidential and use it only to provide their services to us; with professional advisers; or where the law requires it.
Overseas disclosure
This website and the IDFusion platform are hosted in Australia. Some of our service providers, such as email providers, may store information outside Australia. Where that happens we take reasonable steps to make sure it is handled consistently with the APPs and, where it applies, the GDPR.
Keeping information secure
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, change or disclosure. We keep it only for as long as we need it for the purposes above or as the law requires, and then delete or de-identify it.
Your choices and rights
You can ask to access or correct the personal information we hold about you. If the GDPR applies to you, you may also ask us to erase or restrict it, object to how we use it, or receive a copy in a portable format. We rely on our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries, and on our contracts with customers, to handle personal information. We will respond within 30 days.
Questions and complaints
Email us at idfusion@increment.inc with the subject “Privacy request”. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au, or, if you are in the EU or UK, your local data protection authority.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version is always on this page, with the date it was last updated.
